The bulk of the material is related to an apartment building owned by Effa Manley and members of her family in Germantown, Pennsylvania, and property owned by Abe Manley in Camden, New Jersey.

Erwin Rall Uncle Wiggily Collection
This small collection hinges on an autographed copy of Uncle Wiggily's Fortune, a book by Howard R. Garis. The book, published in 1913, was autographed by Garis in December 1918 for 4-year-old Erwin L. Rall Jr. In addition to the book, the collection includes an undated photo of Erwin Rall, as well as a photo and obituary of Friedolin Rall (1925), and a photocopied news article about Howard R. Garis (1946).
Essex County Adult Education
The collection consists of administrative records, minutes, and correspondence of the Essex County Adult Education Council, which had offices in the Newark Public Library. The Council's Secretary was Ed A. Wright.
